The program alternates in five days, moments of great religious intensity, during the procession of the bust with the relics, with moments of entertainment with traditional games in the square, folk groups and singers. On Tuesday, a procession of the faithful accompanies the silvery bust of the saint from the Mother Church to the Hermitage, through an evocative route through the countryside and the centuries-old Quisquina forest. The simulacrum is carried on the shoulders of devotees from various parts of Sicily preceded by about 100 horsemen who, with their best horses with rich trappings, give life to the traditional cavalcade. In the late afternoon, a long procession of faithful in cars escorts the saint's return to the entrance of the village, where the procession led by horsemen reassembles to lead the silvery bust to the Mother Church.
