The light and sound installation was created in two halls of the Joala factory, located on the ground floor and on the fifth floor. The installation on the ground floor symlolizes the idea of carrying on spinning the life threads of the people who once worked in the old Spinning factory, from which the fabric of the future generations will continue to be made. On the 5th floor of Joala Factory, 288 different fabric samples are collected, originating from the former Kreenholm textile factory. These unique fabric patterns were once part of Kreenholm's production and now adorn the windows of Joala Factory, forming a kind of stained glass. This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore historical fabric patterns, which are an important part of Narva city's cultural heritage. Kreenholm fabric has always been valued both locally and internationally, known for its quality and unique patterns.
