«Taras Bulba» is the oldest rock festival in Ukraine. Its story started in 1991. The ancient Dubno town of Rivne region is a traditional place of the festival holding. It is precisely here the events depicted in a famous “Taras Bulba” by Mykola Gogol took place. Indeed, this strong-minded character is a symbol of Ukrainian rock event. Meanwhile, over half of a thousand bands and artists concertized on the festival’s stage. In different years, many performers wined the Grand Prix alongside the opportunity to record a disc:  «Fiolet», «NiagAra», «Karna», «Anna», «Orchestra of Yanka Kozyr», «Polynove Pole». Today the festival widens a set of genres; several new stages and platforms function here. All these contribute to creating a unique atmosphere of Ukrainian spirit, mysticism, and everlasting traditions.
